A Little Cava

Well we have arrived and if the rest of the trip goes like this we will be in fine shape. Things got off to a good start when I was able to check in to Air France via the internet and move us upstairs on the 747. This meant we were able to avoid long lines at SFO and sit in a cabin that happens to have a little extra room with only 60 other passengers. In all of our other flights on Air France the on-line check-in never worked, and so except for a few teenagers who liked to take their constitutional in the lavatory we had a comfortable and swift crossing. A plane change in a cloudy Paris (“Bad weather to launch rockets”. said Sydney) and we find ourselves in Marbella. The hotel is very nice, just what we wanted Must be fairly new, the room does not have that look of a well used room yet. Upon arrrival the hotel provided Sydney with juice and the parents with Cava, a spanish dry champagne. Ahhhh…

The Costa del Sol reminds me of the dry hills around Los Angeles, same type of  terrane .
